You have found Amy Ferrone Ponce's blog that began when I was diagnosed with advanced staged III breast cancer and ended with a story from my last major surgery.
I am now 3 1/2 out from diagnosis, and the whole experience now feels like a very distant dream. I'm glad I wrote all this down as I was living it. As I re-read it, I think, "You were really certain that God would bring sweetness out this cancer and you were really certain that there were better days ahead."

I do love the musical Hair, but this also reminds me of the episode of Family Ties. Mallory was cutting people's hair and not doing a very good job. Mr. Keaton (with a baseball hat) sat next to Skippy (with a baseball hat) at the kitchen table eating ice cream. Mr. Keaton said, "All I can say is, it will grow back."
